Background

To thoroughly implement President Xi Jinping’s important instructions on building a China–Central Asia community with a shared future, implement the outcomes of the second China–Central Asia Summit, advance high-quality Belt and Road development, strengthen exchanges and cooperation between China and Central Asian countries in the field of science and technology innovation, promote the transfer, commercialization and industrial application of scientific and technological achievements, and, with the strengthened guidance and support of the People’s Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region, the China–Central Asia International Technology Transfer Center came into being.
