The China–Kazakhstan new energy technology cooperation demonstration project addresses regional clean-energy development and utilization needs, focusing on photovoltaics, wind power, energy storage and integrated energy management while establishing a coordinated R&D mechanism between research institutions and enterprises.

During implementation, the cooperation team adapted technologies to Kazakhstan’s resources, energy-use structure and application conditions, designing demonstration solutions and assessing operational data to extend new energy technologies from individual applications to integrated solutions.

The center organizes technology matchmaking, expert exchanges and commercialization services to develop a replicable cooperation pathway and provide technical support for the region’s green, low-carbon energy development.

The project will continue cooperation in clean-energy equipment, operations and maintenance, and talent development, helping China and Kazakhstan build a long-term, stable innovation partnership in new energy.
