Smart agriculture technology application case

With the rapid growth of digital technology, smart agriculture has become an important path to agricultural modernization. China and Central Asian countries have substantial cooperation potential in agriculture, especially in the agricultural Internet of Things, intelligent sensing and big-data analytics.

The China–Central Asia International Technology Transfer Center and Uzbek partner institutions conduct smart-agriculture cooperation around production monitoring, crop-growth management and water-saving irrigation, introducing advanced agricultural IoT equipment and intelligent monitoring systems to build a digital farm-management platform.

During implementation, the technical teams worked closely to optimize solutions for local farming needs, deploy equipment, integrate systems and train local agricultural technicians, ensuring effective adoption and application.

The project significantly improved local agricultural management efficiency, made resource use more precise and enhanced crop yield and quality. It provides replicable experience for regional agricultural digitalization and a strong foundation for China–Uzbekistan agricultural science and technology cooperation.

The partners will deepen cooperation, promote more smart-agriculture technologies in Central Asia and jointly advance green, efficient and sustainable agriculture.
